I am a Gonzaga fan through and through - I graduated with a B.A. in English, magna cum laude, from Gonzaga University. I obtained my Juris Doctor degree from the Willamette University College of Law, also magna cum laude. After law school in Oregon, I moved to Idaho where I'd spent many summers with family and began a clerkship with the Honorable John K. Butler in Jerome.
Since entering private practice after my clerkship, I have focused on family law matters. I fight for individuals in the family law arena, handling high-contest custody cases and complex divorce matters involving child custody, support, spousal maintenance and the division of business assets. In addition to providing affordable legal services in my family law practice, I also practice as a criminal defense attorney providing cost-effective counsel for individuals facing criminal charges. In my general civil practice, I am happy to counsel and assist my clients with their unique needs, including collection issues and estate planning.
Aside from my law practice, I am a past member of the board of directors for the local Inns of Court, and served as a past president. In addition to my service with the Inns of Court, I have served as a past president of the Fifth District Bar Association. I am a member of the Idaho State Bar, the Family Law Section of the Idaho State Bar, the American Bar Association, the Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity, and the Idaho Women Lawyers.
When not in the office, I'm usually either working on my small farm or out hiking and hunting.
